UN chief sees terrorism on rise in Syria

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that the conflict in Syria was fueling terrorism and aggravating the humanitarian catastrophe in the country. He noted that the humanitarian catastrophe was provoking more violations of human rights and crimes against humanity, ITAR-TASS reports.Ban Ki-moon promised that Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will continue efforts to end the conflict.
