Georgian president fires deputy head of border service

Georgian President Petro Poroshenko has fired the deputy head of the State Border Service, Igor Rynkov, RIA Novosti reports. The corresponding document has been published on the president's official website.

The president has not specified the reason.

Rynkov had served as the deputy head of the body since May 19, 2008.
