Abkhaz presidential elections declared valid

The turnout at the presidential elections held in Abkhazia on Sunday has topped 50 percent, which means that the elections are valid, the semi-recognized republic's Central Electoral Commission says in a statement.

The early polls were held due to the president's resignation.
