Turkey to form new government on Friday

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, recently elected as the president, said before the opening of the general assembly of the Justice and Development Party that a new Cabinet will be formed on August 29, ITAR-TASS reports.

Erdogan proposed Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on August 21 as the only candidate to become the country's 26th prime minister.
