Iranian drones to be deployed during military drills

Iran is to hold the first drills with drones on October 23 – November 21, said Brigadier General Kumars Kheydari, deputy commander of the Iranian Ground Forces, Iran.ru reports.

Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, the commander of the Iranian Ground Forces, announced drills with use of drones earlier. They will be organized in Isfahan or Qum. Iran’s largest drone, the Fotros, was presented on November 18, 2013. The role of Iranian drones is more significant in the light of shooting down an Israeli drone over Natanz.
