Armenian principals say schools have no students

Karine Movsisyan, the principal of the Aksel Bakunts School N1 in Goris, said that grade 2 was dissolved because many children migrated to Russia. The principal added that 11 children moved to America, so remaining grade 2 students were automatically shifted to grade 3, 1in.am reports.


Liana Mkrtchyan, the principal of a school in Sevan, said that up to 10 students had left the country. Teachers were not left without jobs, although they give fewer lessons.
