Counter-terrorist field operation in Dagestan

Today the police killed a militant in forested area near the village of Eched in Dagestan during the course of a counter-terrorist operation, RIA Novosti reports.

The authorities ordered gunmen to surrender, but they opened fire in response. None of the police officers was injured. The killed militant is being identified.
