Putin doubts Kiev will let its surrounded soldiers leave

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Seliger Forum today that Kiev was not planning to let its soldiers who are surrounded at Olovaysk leave. Putin called it a big mistake and warned that there would be major casualties, RIA Novosti reports.

Putin compared the situation in the east of Ukraine with the fate of Russian cities in the Great Patriotic War.
