EU leaders to ask European Commission to prepare new sanctions against Russia

Leaders of the EU member-states are going to ask the European Commission to prepare a new round of sanctions against Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

"It is clear that after Russia's invasion in Ukraine the EU will ask the European Commission to prepare a new round of sanctions," the news agency cites German Vice Chancellor Siegmar Gabriel as saying.
