Georgia and Iran discuss cooperation in the energy sector

A Georgian Dream MP, the head of the parliamentary foreign relations committee Tedo Japaridze, and the Iranian Parliament's Speaker Ali Larijan have met in Tehran and discussed cooperation in the energy sector between Georgia and Iran, as well as the deepening of economic and trade relations and cooperation against terrorism in the region.Tedo Japaridze also met with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Ebrahim Rahimpour, Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran Said Iravani, and the National Security Committee Chairman Alaeddin Boroujerdi during the visit to Tehran. The chairman of the parliamentary committee on the diaspora and the Caucasus, Gubaz Sanikidze, accompanied him during the visit, Trend reports.
