Georgia demands UN condemn elections in Abkhazia

Georgian Permanent Representative to the UN Kakha Imnadze filed a complaint to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the UN Security Council, demanding that the international community condemn the presidential polls in Abkhazia, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to the complaint, the elections were a demonstration of disrespect towards international law, principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
