Mashhad and Baku may become twin cities

The governor of Iran's Khorasan Province, Alirza Rashidiyan, is on a visit to Baku to develop economic, cultural and tourism ties. He has met Baku Chief Executive Gajibala Abutalybov, discussed bilateral relations, exchange of experience and twinning the cities of Mashhad and Baku, APA reports.

The Iranian delegation will meet Azerbaijani Minister for Economy and Industry Shakhin Mustafayev and Minister for Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev. The delegation plans to meet Minister for Emergencies Kyamaleddin Heydarov. The Iranian guests plan to visit Qabala and check its tourism potential.

The visit will continue until September 12.
