Georgia and UK discuss cooperation in the security sphere
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaToday in Tbilisi a meeting took place between the prime minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and an adviser to the UK government concerning external security and crises, General Harry Johnson, at which the parties discussed questions concerning cooperation in the defense and security spheres.Also at the meeting it was underlined that at the NATO summit in Wales, Georgia took one more step on the way to membership of alliance.Garibashvili expressed gratitude to the adviser to the UK government for supporting the sovereignty, territorial integrity and aspirations of Georgia to become a member of the North Atlantic alliance.
