Azerbaijan to legalize civil marriages

 

Fazail Agamaly, a member of the Azerbaijani parliament, proposed at a session of parliamentary committees for social policy, legal policy and state construction to add an article on civil marriage to the Family Code, Trend reports.The MP emphasized that civil marriages existed and should not be forbidden, so that parents of children born in such marriages could have full responsibility for them.
