Inhabitants of Sochi will be acquainted with culture of Tibet

 

A festival of Tibetan Culture will take place in Sochi from September 28 to October 6. Construction by monks of a monastery of Drepung Gomang of a sand mandala Green Tara will be the main event of a festival.In parallel with this there will be a cultural program acquainting the inhabitants of Sochi with the culture of Tibet and the life of the monks in one of the largest Buddhist monastery-universities of the present day.Visitors will be told about ancient Tibetan rituals, they will be able to read lectures, will visit master classes on the foundations of Tibetan painting and obertonny singing, Yuga.Ra reports, referring to the organizers of the events.
