Azerbaijani president meets head of European Olympic Committee

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey today. The sides expressed satisfaction with Azerbaijan's progress in preparing for the 2015 European Olympic Games in Baku, the first such games in history, Trend reports.

At the meeting, Aliyev and Hickey emphasized the role of state support in development of all kinds of sports in Azerbaijan. They exchanged opinions on sports cooperation.
