Ban Ki-Moon calls on involved parties to observe Minsk memorandum

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon calls on the Ukrainian authorities and the rebels to observe the memorandum signed recently in Minsk, RIA Novosti reports.

"The secretary general calls on all parties to secure successful implementation of the agreed measures in order achieve a long-term ceasefire and further progress in the process of the resolution of the conflict," the UN chief's deputy spokesperson is quoted as saying.
