Tbilisi activists back Kobuleti Muslims

Activists gathered at the Peace Bridge in Tbilisi yesterday to back Kobuleti Muslims protesting against the opening of a madrasah. The meeting was organized by the Association of Azerbaijani Students of Georgia and the Free Zone NGO.

The activists protested against intolerance expressed by Kobuleti locals who had nailed a pig's head to the madrasah door. Samira Ismailova, the head of GATA, said that intolerance was a violation of constitutional rights and freedoms.
