23rd Kinoshock Cinema Festival starts in Anapa

The 23rd Kinoshock Cinema Festival started in Anapa yesterday. 14 films from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania will be demonstrated. Armenian script writer and director Arutyun Khachatryan and Georgian cameraman Lomer Akhvlediani are among the judges, ITAR-TASS reports.The festival opened at the Anapa-Okean Hotel.The judges are headed by photo artist Yekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya. She will be assisted by Khachatryan and Akhvlediania, writer and film critic Alla Bossart, actress Olga Lapshina, director Vladimir Fokin.The “Cinema about cinema” special program will include demonstration of films by directors from Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, U.S. Films demonstrated will be about actors and directors Andrey Tarkovsky, Oleg Yankovsky, Woody Allen, Emir Kusturica, Milos Forman. A star alley will be founded at museum of the festival under construction

A star alley will be founded at the museum of the festival under construction.
