Kerch Ferry temporarily closed

The Kerch Ferry has been temporarily closed due to a storm in the area, according to Irkyam Kaderkayeva, the head of the PR section of the United Transportation Directorate, ITAR-TASS reports.

The wind speed at night reached 30m/s, wave height 3.5-4 meters. The wind speed will range from 14-19m/s to 24m/s. Up to a thousand cars wait for the ferry at Port Krym and 410 at Port Kavkaz.

People were recommended to refrain from visiting Crimea on September 24-26.
