Ukrainians ready to pay quadruple present price of gas

Alexander Todiychuk, deputy head of Naftogaz, said at an energy forum in Kiev that the price for gas may rise in 2014. In his words, the Ministry for Energy and the Coal Industry approves the initiative, although the government will try to prevent rising gas prices, UNIAN reports.

Todiychuk added that Ukrainians were ready to pay quadruple the present price of gas, according to social polls.
