Poroshenko decentralizes Ukraine

Poroshenko decentralizes Ukraine President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced its intention to amend the Constitution in order to decentralize the coutnry after the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada. "As soon as the new Parliament is elected, I would suggest amendments to the Constitution, dealing with issues of decentralization", he said quoted  by RIA Novosti. The President stressed that the increase in regional authority must be accompanied by early elections. The decentralization will be extended to Donetsk and Lugansk regions, with no additional special status.

President Poroshenko stressed that the increase in regional authority must be accompanied by early elections.
