Igor Kovalyev: “The Scots voted by reason, not by heart”

Yelena Ananyeva, the head of the British Research Center of the Institute of Europe of the RAS, and Igor Kovalyev, the deputy dean of the World Economics and World Politics Department of the HSE, commented on the results of the referendum in Scotland. On September 18th a very important event took place in Europe – a referendum on the independence of Scotland, which would influence the future of not only the UK, but the whole continent, as it would become a precedent for all European nations which dream about independence.
