Iran threatens to launch strike against Islamic State

The Commander of the Iranian ground forces, General Ahmad-Reza Purdastan, says the Islamic Republic is ready to launch an attack on the Islamic State terrorist group on the territory of Iraq, ITAR-TASS reports.

"If the militants approach the Iranian border, our forces will launch a strike," he said.
