Butba named prime minister of Abkhazia

Abkhaz President Raul Khajimba has appointed Beslan Butba, leader of the centrist Party for Economic Development, as the prime minister of the country.

Butba has already been a vice prime minister. Khajimba became the president on August 24 and dissolved the government on September 26.
