Three dead in Kalmyk Republic crash

Three people were killed and 10 injured in head-on collision between a
car and a bus in the Kalmyk Republic early on Wednesday, RIA Novosti
reports.

The accident happened near the village of Artesian on the
Artesian-Komsomolsk road. There were 40 people in the bus, which was
heading from Makhachkala to Moscow.

This is the second major traffic accident in the Kalmyk Republic in
the last 5 days. On September 18 a bus going from Makhachkala to
Moscow swerved into the oncoming lane and hit a truck. Three died
people and 10 were hospitalized. The bus driver had fallen asleep at
the wheel.
