4th International Humanitarian Forum starts in Baku

The Heydar Aliyev Center is hosting the 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum. Participants in the two-day Forum will discuss the following topics: “Comparative studies of multiculturalism: from theory to humanism practice,” “Transformation of media in the digital age: new tendencies of development,” “The role of inter-subject integration in innovative development,” “Sustainable development and ecological civilization,” “Challenges of globalization: between traditions and transformation,” “Molecular biology and biotechnologies in the 21st century: theory, practice, prospects,” Convergence of technologies and contours of the future: the main challenges of the 21st century,” “Humanism as the main value of the post-modern period.”

The main goal of the Forum is dialogues, discussions and exchange of views on a wide range of issues. The forum will make recommendations to international organizations and state leaders.

The Forum was initiated by the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan. It is an annual event gathering politicians, world scientific and cultural elites, winners of Nobel Prizes and heads of international organizations.
