Russia receives some 160,000 tons of fruits and vegetables from Azerbaijan

 

Russia has imported 157,000 tons of fruits and vegetables from Azerbaijan through the territory of Dagestan this year. Potatoes and nuts are the main food imports from Azerbaijan. The volume of the imports will grow, according to Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, RIA Dagestan reports.Azerbaijan had big potential for exports of vegetables, fruits and meat to Russia, she added.
