The recent tragedy in Mineralnyye Vody was not a minifestation of inter-ethnic hatred, Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov told civil activists and reporters today.

As Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier, local resident Anatoly Larionov, who was beaten severely in one of the city's hospitals, died on September 29th.

"The investigation into the case has already been started. Six people have been detained so far," the governor said.
