Kurds start mass disorders in Turkey
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaKurdish activists started mass protests in Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Canakkale, Siirt, Sirnak, Mardin, Batman and Mus on the night of October 6-7. Only the protests in Ankara and Canakkale were peaceful. Windows of houses and cars were broken in Izmir, two activists were injured in Adana, two banks set on fire in Sirnak, shops set on fire in Mus, RIA Novosti reports.
The police used tear gas and water cannons to stop the protesters. The Kurds claim that Turkey is evading fighting ISIS, while the terrorists attack Syria's Kobani. Kurds are also enraged by the refusal of Turkey to open a corridor from Iraqi Kurdistan through Syria to supply the militia with weapons.
