Donetsk accuses UN of demonizing militia

Miroslav Rudenko, vice speaker of the Supreme Council of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”, believes that the authors of the UN report on the situation in Donbass were biased in depicting the militia and under the influence of the Ukrainian and U.S. authorities, Interfax reports.

The UN Human Rights Commissioner’s office has recently published a report on the situation in Ukraine. The document says that the militia and Ukrainian law enforcers were violating human rights. The militia were reported to be involved in terrorizing districts under their control, murdering, kidnapping people, torture, violence, destroying housing and taking over property.
