NATO secretary general to visit Turkey

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will visit Turkey and meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. They will discuss the crisis in Syria and anti-ISIS efforts.

ISIS took control of the Syrian city of Kobani yesterday. Kurds started mass protests in Turkey over the government’s inability to stop Islamic State. 15 people were injured. Curfews were imposed in the provinces of Diyarbakir, Mardin, Sirt, Mus, Van and Batman.
