Georgian PM meets with IOC president
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili has met with President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach and discussed the role of Georgian sports and the Olympic movement in the development of the International Olympic Movement and the preparations by Georgia for the Tbilisi-2015 Olympic Festival of European Youth, Trend reports.
Garibashvili reminded that Tbilisi was the first post-Soviet city to host the festival. He thanked Bach for attending the 25th anniversary of the Georgian National Olympic Committee.
President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey and Georgian Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Levan Lipiani attended the meeting.
