Ukrainian president fires Donetsk governor - media

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has fired the Governor of the Donetsk Region, billionaire Sergey Taruta, The New Times cites a source close to Taruta as saying.

According to the agency, General Oleksandr Kikhtenko is expected to be appointed as Taruta's successor.
