Iran’s Larijani to attend meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva

Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani is scheduled to visit Switzerland to take part in a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly, Press TV reports.

Larijani, who will leave Tehran for Geneva on Sunday afternoon along with a parliamentary delegation, will deliver a speech at the 131st IPU assembly on Tuesday.

Over 700 lawmakers from 141 countries, including 104 speakers and deputy speakers of parliament, will attend the confab from October 12 to 16.
