Merkel refuses to meet with Putin

 

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has cancelled the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin set for late October over the situation in Ukraine. Putin-Merkel talks are usually held simultaneously with the Petersburg Dialogue of Russia and German, which will be held in Sochi this year, Yuga.ru reports.Putin and Merkel had a telephone conversation and discussed preparations for talks in Milan within the framework of the ACEM summit set for October 16-17.
