Shoigu and Hasanov discuss military cooperation between Moscow and Baku The Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu arrived today in Baku on an official visit where he held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov on topical issues of military and military-technical cooperation. The inter-state cooperation in the Caspian Sea was named as one of the most important fields, Itar Tass reports. The Russian minister said that "the first step towards the creation of a system of collective security in the Caspian Sea could be the creation of a board of naval forces commanders and the drafting of a five-sided agreement on the Prevention of Incidents in the Caspian Sea and the airspace above it.
