USA approves Russian decision not to provide Iran with S-300

The USA approves of Russia's decision not to provide S-300 missile
defence complexes to Iran, an official spokesman for the White House
said in New York, RIA Novosti reports.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, according to which
Iran will not receive S-300 complexes, based on the UN Security
Council resolution introducing new sanctions against Iran.
