Georgian Interior Ministry continues persecution of old government

Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, leader of the United National Movement, was suspected of a complot to start an uprising and force changes in the Constitution, Georgian Deputy Interior Minister Levan Izoria said yesterday, Trend reports.About a month ago, Georgian Interior Minister charged Saakashvili with an attempt to cause mass disorders in the country and form a group of 500 people to provoke the police, organize strikes at strategic enterprises, stir up the public via reports about crime in the country, social and economic problems, relations with Russia and forced migrants.
