Exhibition of Lermontov’s graphic works opens in Tashkent

 

The Russian Science and Culture Center held a literature and music evening in Tashkent yesterday, dedicated to works of writer Mikhail Lermontov within the framework of his 200th anniversary, RIA Novosti reports.Victor Shulika, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Uzbekistan, said that his agency and the Institute of Russian Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences presented graphic works of the poet.Cadets and volunteers of the center prepared theater and music plays, demonstrated videos about the life and poetry of Lermontov, read his poems and made art works.
