Axel Vekh becomes the new ambassador of Austria to Azerbaijan

 

Since December 1, 2014 Axel Vekh will start diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan. He will replace Silvia Mayer-Kaybich in this post.Axel Vekh was born in 1968. In 1992 he graduated as a master of sciences in the sphere of law from the University of Graz. In 1998-1999 he worked as an attache at the embassy of Austria in Brussels. In 1999-2000 he worked in the federal ministry for European and international issues, the embassies of Austria in New Delhi and Brazil, he directed the operation on assistance in connection with athe tsunami in Sri Lanka.
