Turkmen president promotes 23 citizens as Honorary Elders of Nation

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has promoted 23 more citizens as Honorary Elders of the Nation (Hormatly il ýaşulusy). The presidential decree says that elders educate young people, help to resolve topical problems, and propose new initiatives, Turkmenistan Zolotoy Vek reports.

Pensioners, workers of industry, agriculture and other sectors can become Honorary Elders.
