Iranian atomic chief describes nuclear needs of republic

Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said at the energy commission of the Islamic Consultative Council that the country needed more power plants similar to the one in Bushehr. He noted that some countries were ready to help Iran, IRIB reports.Salehi noted that Bushehr was producing about 7 billion KW/h. Iran will need 20 such power plants in the future, according to the official.
