Grenade planted on door of ex-rector of medical university in Yerevan

A combat grenade was found attached to the door of the apartment of Vilen Akopyan, born in 1938, an ex-rector of the Mkhitar Heratsi Yerevan State Medical University, an academician, in the small center of Yerevan, News Armenia reports.

The grenade with a detonator was found in sports boots hanging on the handle of the door. Sappers defused the grenade. The police are investigating the scene.
