Russian minister blames Ukraine’s insolvency for failure to sign gas deal

 

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that a gas deal for winter would have been signed with Ukraine in Brussels yesterday if Ukraine confirmed its solvency, Gazeta.u reports.Novak hopes that an agreement will be reached at negotiations on October 29.
