Air strikes on Islamic State are effective, Pentagon says

As a result of the US air strikes on Islamic State the terrorists have incurred heavy losses and were forced to alter their strategy, the Pentagon's press secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby says.

According to the admiral, the US strategy does indeed work.
