Georgia to open public talks on defense issues

Georgia is starting the work of the ‘Institute of social affairs of
Georgia’ and ‘Consulting group of policy and ruling' - ‘Social forum
and dialogue’ on September 24, Trend reports.

The project is aimed at heightening society’s interest in various
spheres. The project includes discussions on the threats and
challenges to Georgia's defense system and society. The head of the
Institute of Strategy and Development, Andro Barnov, will make a
report. After the presentation the discussions will open.

The talks will focus on the factors affecting Georgia's defense
system, the level of the current defense system and ways to improve
it.
