Putin congratulates Turkmen counterpart on Independence Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulation telegram to his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, congratulating him on Turkmenistan's Independence Day. Putin noted the economic, social, scientific and foreign political progress of Turkmenistan and emphasized the high level of Russian-Turkmen relations, TASS reports.

The Russian leader expressed confidence in further development of constructive bilateral ties and expansion of cooperation on the regional and international agenda taking stability and security in Central Asia into account.
