Paris meeting of Aliyev and Sargsyan: hope behind closed doors

The third meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan in the last three months, devoted to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, took place in Paris today. François Hollande welcomed  the presidents as the head of a country which cochairs the OSCE Minsk Group. This round of the Karabakh negotiations could go down in history as one of the most closed: after the meeting the parties didn't make any statements - representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group and François Hollande refrained from making statements.
