Estonian defense minister to help Georgia join NATO

Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, the chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, has met with Defense Minister Sven Mikser in Estonia. Kapanadze noted that the Wales summit was demonstrating Georgia’s correct path towards joining the NATO, Georgia Online reports.Mikser assured that Estonia will support Georgia on its path, offer it military training, consultations and investments.The Georgian general corroborated that reforms in the Georgian Armed Forces were aimed at making the army stronger and readier for cooperation with NATO forces.
